Hotel Welschen AG is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. We are working towards full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which has been in effect since June 2025.

Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy

Sufficient colour contrast ratios throughout the website

Keyboard-navigable menus, links and interactive elements

Descriptive alt text for all meaningful images

Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes

Clear and consistent navigation structure

ARIA labels where appropriate for screen reader users

Known Limitations

Some older gallery images may lack detailed alt text — we are updating these progressively

Third-party booking widgets (Beds24) are outside our direct control but we work with the provider on accessibility improvements

PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible — please contact us for alternative formats
